Scouts learn.
Scouts in Troop 87 are learning to swim, catch a fish, cook, clean, set up in good weather and bad, properly respect and retire the flag, plan a year of activities, canoe down a river, hike over mountains, save a life, build a shelter, plan and carry out a project, be a good family member and citizen, manage their time and money, start a fire and put one out, pack for a trip, make adjustments because they forgot something, be clean… or get clean, have fun, and make friends.
